Troubleshooting AWS Errors

Failed to create role: not authorized to perform: iam:CreateRole

Solution:

When creating AWS Roles, you must attach the “Customer_Admin_PermissionBoundary” Permission Boundary. See Admin Account Permission Exclusions

Unable to create user: not authorized to perform: iam:CreateUser
